Alhamdulillah — All the Praise for Allah Subhanu wa Taala
Salaam and Salawaat on our Beloved Prophet ﷺ on His Family & also on His Noble Companions
The Holy Quran is the final revelation from Allah Almighty on His final Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.
The language of holy Quran is Arabic. Allah Almighty says:
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
We have sent it down, an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand. 12:2
Non-Arab Muslims therefore have a requirement to get familiar with the Arabic language if they wish to grasp the understanding of the Quran. Indeed, it is a natural thirst of Muslims to understand Allah Almighty’s Words directly — without translation. It is true that only the comprehension of the Arabic language doesn’t suffice to make someone grasp the full meaning and attain the genuine purpose of the revelation, however, if studied sincerely and under the supervision of the righteous, InshaAllah a Mu’min (a practising believer) will be benefitted!
Personally, I have been trying on to learn Arabic only in this view — I need to understand the Holy Quran!
Allah Almighty always assists His servants when they sincerely seek something. I felt that with little sincerity when I made some effort, Allah Almighty made it very easy for me! Alhamdulillah. Although still there is a long way to go, at least the basic of the language seems simple to me now. All the praise is for Allah, Alhamdulillah.
This blog site is mainly to note my learning and move on further. It is also an effort to help people around me who are like me — busy but possess a great zeal to learn Arabic only in view to understand the Quran. I would like to post very short simple lessons and categorize them so that one may understand the relations or differences among the lessons (posts).
I hope to update this site weekly or fortnightly. But I haven’t started yet! Please have some patience. InshaAllah I will start the site soon.
